MXG “Kicks Off” the 2008 Spring Season
The MXG Organization enters the 2008 Spring Season with two dynamic teams.
The U11 team will play an active D2 Spring season with a 2-0-0 start. The U12 team is playing in the D2 Spring league also with a fast 1-0-1 start to the season. The Milpitas Fire [Norcal Spring League] has taken advantage of the spring conditioning & training with a 1-0-0 start. The hard work of the “speed & agility” drills is beginning to show. Good luck to all three teams!
Soccer Star, Brandi Chastain, visits the MXG teams
U.S. Olympic and World Cup soccer veteran Brandi Chastain practiced with both MXG soccer teams at Murphy Park on April 3rd. This special event was put together through the efforts of team member, Caitlin Caglia-Hilty, Celice Caglia and Donna Hanson. The players had a remarkable chance to practice & learn from Brandi Chastain. A group picture of the players and Brandi appeared in the Milpitas Post on April 10, 2008.
